“We Don’t Do Politics At Church”

A night Discussing Church and Politics with Redemption Arcadia Elders Joe Ponce and Frank Switzer

What does it mean when we say “We don’t do politics at church”?

Certainly, the Bible has some political content, right? – Those Prophets in the Old Testament would likely agree. And “politics” can surely be read into the situation surrounding the trial and execution of Jesus.

So, is the Bible, or the Gospel, or Jesus completely void of a political nature? No. In fact, we would argue that there are few things – if any – that are more political than the Gospel or Jesus. Or Scripture.

So, what does it mean when we say “we don’t do politics at church”? That is the question – and meaning – we seek to discuss and understand at this event.

Please join us on Wednesday, October 16, from 6:00 – 7:45pm as REDARC Elder Joe Ponce interviews Pastor Frank on this and many other relevant topics in the midst of … WAIT FOR IT … The Most Important Election in the History of our Country! (At least, until 2028 rolls around)
