MISSIONS

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Acts 1:7–8

As Jesus ascended to the right hand of the Father, He promised His disciples His Spirit that would give them to power to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel to the world. Fast forward thousands of years and that power is still at work in His Church. Our mission is to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” and we teach them to observe the Lord’s commandments. We pursue this mission with the peace of knowing that Jesus is with us to the end of the age (Matt. 28:19-20).

Part of this mission at Arcadia is to love the “quartet of the vulnerable.” This quartet are various peoples that we find described throughout Scripture (Deut. 10:18, 27:19; Jer. 7:5-7; Ezek. 16:49; Zech. 7:9-10; Mal. 3:5).

The fatherless.

The widow.

The sojourner.

The poor.

Each of these peoples are dear to the heart of the Lord and they must be dear to the heart of Christ’s Bride (Pss. 146:5-9).

Our Arcadia ministry partners share this same visions and pursue this same mission: to show the world God's love and to offer the riches of Christ to the spiritually poor in the hopes that none should perish but have eternal life.

Locally, we aim to relate with organizations that impact the Arcadia and greater Phoenix metropolitan area.

Globally, we support the sending of missionaries to unreached peoples so that they may hear the Gospel of Jesus.

We participate in these missional ministry partnerships through the building of genuine relationships, the sacrifice of time in service to others, through the generosity of our treasures, and to use our unique giftings and talents to tell others about Jesus. Join us in prayer and service as we labor to partner with others outside of Redemption Arcadia in the furtherance of God’s Kingdom.
