A Discourse on the Purtians with Dr. Nathan Tarr
The Puritans of the 16th and 17th century lived in a world filled with various and unrelenting suffering. And they lived in this world with hearts full of hope, peace, and an unrelenting joy because they were convinced that Jesus was with them in the storm of their suffering and that they would emerge from the waters of affliction looking more like their beautiful Savior. As men and women striving to love God, lead our families, and look more like Jesus amid the challenges of the 21st century, we have much to learn from our Puritan forebears regarding the topics of sovereignty, suffering, and sanctification. And perhaps most importantly of all, we have the chance to think on these topics together! I am looking forward to being with you.” - Dr. Nathan Tarr
