ACTS 21:1-26“READY TO DIE”
Here are a number of questions for discussion within families or your Redemption Community. Helpful tips for studying scripture can be found at “arcadia.redemptionaz.com/squid”. - Philip was likely a close friend of the martyr Stephen, how do you think he felt having Paul come stay at his house in verse 8?
- There's tension we must hold here in these verses in how the Spirit is leading these people. Suffering for Paul seems to be part of God's plan. How often do we (rightfully so) choose to protect those we love from suffering? What if that's where God's leading?
- How do you see parallels between Paul's journey into suffering and Jesus knowingly stepping into suffering in Luke 9-19?
- How can you follow the Holy Spirit? How do you know what God's leading you to do? (*Hint - There's a tension held even in this text)
