Do I trust God with everything?
Is Jesus really better than anything else?
Is He all I need?
At one time or another every follower of Christ will ask themself some version of these questions. Often times trials, difficulties, disappointments, and persecution stir up doubt in our heart and weariness in our soul. Peter wrote the epistle 1 Peter to multiply our “grace and peace” (1 Peter 1:2) when we encounter suffering. Peter was a man of passion and doubt, strength and fear, brokenness and restoration. When he encourages believers to endure suffering and persecution, remaining faithful in times of distress by giving themselves entirely to God, he speaks from personal experience. Join us this fall on Thursdays, October 19-November 16, from 9-11am in the sanctuary as we dive into 1 Peter and learn from this letter of hope.
