The Bible calls the church to be a “House of Prayer” (Isaiah 56:7,Jeremiah 7:11,Matthew 21:13,Mark 11:17). In prayer, we depend on God to move, to build, to lead, and to save. We take time to plead on behalf of our church, city, and world, because we say with Psalm 127 that “unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.”
We hope to see this rhythm shape us as a community. We pray in our sanctuary space because it’s where we gather to sing, learn, encourage, love, and yes, pray. It’s what people have been doing in there for decades. We pray from 8-8:30am before service begins, asking expectantly for God to move in us, convict hearts, bring healing, and ultimately to sanctify us, the church.
Anyone interested is welcome to join.
