A HEALTHY CHURCH IS A PRAYING CHURCH
Once a month our church gathers to pray, and it might just be the most important thing we do. God has chosen prayer as a means of working through his people to accomplish his purposes in the world. We pray together to push against cultural isolation and independence, pressing instead into a greater dependence on God and his people because the main biblical model of prayer is corporate (Matthew 6:9, Acts 2:42, James 5:16). That’s why we say a healthy church is a praying church, it’s a gathered people that recognize their own spiritual neediness for God, so brothers and sisters, let’s pray dependently and expectantly. God’s doing great things!
RSVP by the Monday before if you plan to attend and need childcare, otherwise childcare will not be provided.
