In January and February, we spent five weeks deciphering and applying the wonderful and challenging accounts of Elijah (and Ahab and Jezzie).
Now, we find the inspired and powerful ministry of Elijah was carried on by his protégé and friend, Elisha, and the stories conveyed in the first several chapters of 2 Kings are just as convicting and encouraging as the Elijah narratives.
Join us for four Wednesday evenings, March 8-29, in the sanctuary as we work through the life and times of Elisha. Find out why Elisha was called “Baldy,” how his relationship with the Shunammite woman turned out, why Naaman hated and then loved Elisha, what Gehazi’s big mistake was, why the ax head floated in the water, and how all of it is truly about the power, presence, and love of God for His people.
The study starts promptly at 6:30pm each Wednesday and ends by 7:45.
Childcare is provided. Please RSVP if you plan to attend.
